It's A New year!

It's a new year! Want to spruce of your home to make it feel new again? I have lots of fun ideas! It's January -- start small -- like your bathroom!

FALL IS UPON US!

It's that time of year! You can smell Fall in the air! Hickory Nuts and colder weather! Pumpkin carving, apple picking and raking leaves are all things you’ll likely be doing this fall. It’s no surprise that these scents will enter your home and bring back fond memories. Whether you’re shopping for the best fall candles or creating an essential oil blend, here are some fall scents to look out for: Apple; Cinnamon; Pumpkin Spice; Clove; Vanilla. Those are the scents I remember from my childhood!

When I think of Fall the word cozy instantly comes to mind. I’m sure that’s why so many of us crave this beloved season.

Here are 3 tips and ideas for Fall decorating!

TIP #1: If you are trying to create a new look for Fall (or any season for that matter!) it helps to clear out the space you are decorating and live with it empty for a bit.

TIP #2: When decorating for fall, it is best to get the most bang for your buck and pick one look that will carry you through the tailgate, Halloween, and Thanksgiving seasons. There's no need to be too holiday specific. Simple and rustic, any quick-to-make arrangement delivers what I call "an easy wow."

TIP #3: Have fun with your front porch and door! It's the entry to your home -- dress up the front of your home so they have a sneak peek of what you did inside! You can get all of the above from a Farmers Market, or a farmer. Be creative and don't spend a lot of money! The design above will carry you through Thanksgiving and you won't have to break the bank to do this!

Winter is finally on it's way out and Spring is here! That means a fresh start to rebuilding our "nests", and my mind can't help but think of gorgeous greens, warm sunny yellows, and bright blues! And I have lots of fresh new interior design ideas so please check back! I promise you, you'll want to see the pics!
